The semester is over! I had my Drama for the Stage and Screen final on Tuesday and my Spanish I final on Wednesday. I’m really glad this semester is over. My body and brain were really shutting down. I can also focus on being an Irene Ryan partner.

Since my last entry, my major to-do is the drama about getting into Spanish II for the spring at PBCC. The class day/time is full and if I don’t get in, I don’t have a job next semester, nor can I go to KCACTF. I’m worrying so much and I check the status of the class so many times a day. Since most people know already, I suppose I can divulge what all the “home stuff” is about. Our house is going into foreclosure. We’re on the hunt for someplace to rent. Since my last post I’ve started classes. The most challenging and work-oriented is Spanish. Even though I took a year in high school (and a year of what is now outdated sign language), it’s all new to me. Alex and I went to Daytona Beach August 4th-7th. It was a much needed mini-vacation! We stayed at a really nice hotel that was across the street from the beach. It had wood floors, a mini fridge, and a microwave. We hit up a lot of thrift stores and antique mall/flea markets which only fueled my new collecting passion of Pyrex. The money we ( Read more... )

So my “vacation” is under way. This led me to getting a much needed haircut! Oh, thank goodness, because I couldn’t take it anymore. It had been about a year and a half.
